John Ingram

John Ingram

Senior Partner

John has 30 years experience working as both an enquiry agent and bailiff/enforcement agent.

John Ingram was educated at the Roan Grammar school, Greenwich, London, before reading economics at Woolwich Polytechnic.

He then joined his father in the family wholesale builders’ merchants’ business and by 1974 he had risen to Managing Director. In the same year, the Ingram family received an offer of £1.7 million for the shares. This offer was declined and by 1979 the business was eventually sold to Balterley Bathrooms Limited.

After the business was sold, John changed direction and saw an opportunity in investigation and litigation support and has continued in this field and is now one of the most revered investigators in the profession. John’s hobby is motor racing.

Anne Ingram

Anne Ingram

Partner

Anne’s passion outside the business is following wildlife.

Anne Ingram was educated at Halesowen Grammar school following which she studied at Dudley College of Education and qualified as a teacher. Subsequent to six years of teaching Anne retired to become a full time mother. John and Anne have three daughters and two sons.

As the children grew older Anne joined John in the business and has developed into a major stay of the firm. Her skills as an investigator have been and still are a great value to Ingram Associates, especially in child abduction matters where her experience as a teacher and mother are invaluable.

Other than assisting our outside agents in both family and intellectual property matters, where her age and sex create an excellent cover in certain circumstances, her normal day to day activity is that of controlling the business finance.
