What is forfeiture of lease?
“Forfeiture of lease” is when a landlord ends a lease due to the tenant breaching the terms of that lease, either by being in arrears with rent or behind on insurance premiums. The result of this action will revert the current lease to the property freeholder.
Will you need to attend the forfeiture?
Not at all, we actually recommend you don’t attend unless it is absolutely necessary. Simply get in touch with us and explain your situation. Our specialist team of associates will do the rest.
Will you need a Locksmith?
A locksmith should be in attendance to change the locks during the forfeiture of lease. If you would like us to organise this for you, please let us know in advance.
